Dedicated to the memory of Edna Gate
(Byker). Peacefully in her sleep after a long illness on 30th July 2019, aged 87 years, Edna. A loving wife of 66 years to Joe, a dearly loved mam of Lynn, Malcolm, Alan, Barbara and Alison and a much loved mother in-law to all. Also a treasured nanna, great nanna and great-great nanna to all her loving grandchildren.

A woman who brought so much joy to alot of kids in the 70s/80s by having the jazz band. Was so proud of Edna and she honoured me by becoming my daughters godmother. Will always be in my thpughts and heart.xxGina
